Empowering Builders & Educators
The DAS Foundation Grants Program is being developed to provide transparent, milestone-based support for projects that strengthen the DAS ecosystem — from core infrastructure and education to community initiatives and public goods.
Supporting Builders, Educators, and Innovators
The Foundation intends to support initiatives that expand the DAS ecosystem — including open-source development, educational programmes, and purpose-driven community projects. The categories below describe the planned focus areas.
Innovation Grants
Planned support for open-source modules, integrations, tooling, dashboards, and infrastructure that strengthen the ecosystem.
Education & Community Grants
Planned support for educators, course creators, documentation, and programmes promoting digital literacy and empowerment.
Social Impact Grants
Exploratory support for initiatives connecting decentralised technology to real-world community challenges and measurable outcomes.
How the Application Process Will Work
The grants framework is designed to be transparent and milestone-based. The outline below describes the intended process. Final steps and timelines will be published when the programme launches.
1) Submit
Share your project summary, milestones, budget, and deliverables through the published portal (when live).
2) Review
Proposals are evaluated for impact, alignment, feasibility, and responsible delivery practices.
3) Approve
Funding approval follows the programme’s governance criteria and published decision process.
4) Deliver & Report
Milestone-based reporting and transparent updates to support accountability and learning.
Illustrative Grant Examples
The examples below are illustrative only and describe the types of initiatives the programme is designed to support. Once launched, funded projects will be listed publicly with clear reporting.
Open-Source Module Toolkit
A developer collective creates a toolkit that accelerates chain integrations and reduces onboarding time for builders.
Community Education Programme
An education partner delivers digital literacy training with measurable outcomes, open resources, and public reporting.
Sustainable Practice Incentives
A social enterprise designs a rewards model aligned to verifiable environmental or community outcomes, with transparent metrics.
